Welcome to Vagabond. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website located at vagabond.com and the services we provide as a tour operator. By accessing our website or booking a tour with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Introduction

Vagabond ("we", "us", "our") is a registered tour operator specializing in small group adventure tours in Ireland. We are committed to providing high-quality travel experiences. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vagabond.

Please read these terms carefully before making a booking. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. Making a Booking

Bookings can be made online via our website, by email, or by telephone. A booking is only confirmed when we have received the required deposit and issued a written confirmation invoice.

2.2. Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. The amount of the deposit will be specified at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the tour departure date. If the balance is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.

2.3. Payment Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa and MasterCard, as well as bank transfers. All payments must be made in Euro unless otherwise agreed. You are responsible for all bank charges associated with the payment.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. Cancellation by You

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. Cancellation will take effect on the day we receive your notice. The following cancellation fees will apply based on the number of days before departure:

• 60 days or more: Loss of deposit only.
• 30 to 59 days: 50% of total tour price.
• 15 to 29 days: 75% of total tour price.
• Less than 15 days: 100% of total tour price.

3.2. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time prior to departure due to force majeure, insufficient bookings, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by us, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date. We shall not be liable for any other costs or expenses incurred by you.

4. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all our tours. You must provide proof of insurance prior to departure. Your policy must cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation, cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage and personal effects. Vagabond accepts no liability for any losses or expenses incurred without adequate insurance.

5. Health and Fitness

Our tours involve walking, hiking, and outdoor activities. By booking a tour, you confirm that you are physically fit and able to participate in the itinerary. It is your responsibility to ensure you have consulted a medical professional regarding your suitability for the trip. You must inform us in writing of any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities at the time of booking.

6. Code of Conduct

We expect all our guests to behave in a respectful and responsible manner towards our staff, fellow travelers, and the environment. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask you to leave the tour if your behavior is disruptive, illegal, or endangers the safety or enjoyment of others. In such cases, no refund will be given.

7. Liability

7.1. Limitation of Liability

Vagabond acts only as an agent for third-party service providers such as hotels, transport companies, and activity providers. We accept no liability for the failure, negligence, or default of these third parties.

7.2. Exclusions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your booking or tour, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, lost profits, or emotional distress.

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using our website, you consent to the processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

Vagabond reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the website after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
